Adaptive Conjestion Control Scheme Considering Traffic Patterns in ATM Networks

In this paper, we propose a new congestion control method based on the use of thresholds that depend on both ABR traffic and CBR/VBR traffic. The scheme proposed in this paper aims at reducing the ineffective congestion control behaviors and improving the efficiency of the utilization of the network resources.
