초록

Although malignant transformation of mature cystic teratoma is not a common complication, some of its constituent tissues have the potential to undergo malignant transformation. If it is the case, squamous cell carcinoma is the most comon teratoma-related cancer. Teratomas are mostly found in neonates and young adults. We present an a rare case of a postmenopausal woman with mucinous adenocarcinoma arising from one retroperitoneal mature cystic teratoma.
