초록
The purpose of present study is to find the appropriate hull shape of a container ship that is able to operate along the coastal service and canal. The designed vessel is a 200TEU class container ship by the dimentional modification of an exsitng 140TEU container ship which ia an internal coastwise vessel. For the fore-body shape including bulbous bow, the second modification is done by changing the sectional area curves and frameline shape using the data of series resistance test. The model tests in towing tank are performed for the measurement of the residual resistance, sinkage and trim of ship model. Besides, a finite -differnce method based on Mac method is utilized to analyze the flow field around the ship in deep and restricted water conditions. From the model test and numerical analysis results, the resistance characteristics of the designed hull form are estimated.
