Optimizatizing the reaction of Fluorosilicone synthesis as reducing cyclic by-products from back-biting reaction through promotors and reaction variables
초록
The ammonium-based initiator we use is a very strong base, so all ring compounds reactants participate in the reaction almost simultaneously, regardless of the reactivity of monomer. Since the Fluorosilicone synthesis is a reversible reaction in which both a forward reaction and a reverse reaction are performed, the reverse reaction occurs quickly as the reaction speed of the forward reaction increases. This reverse reaction is called a back-biting reaction, which not only produces cyclic by-products, but also affects the yield of polymer and molecular weight of the synthesized fluorosilicone. The back-biting reaction occurs more as the ratio of FD3 in the monomer increases, because the reaction rate of FD3 is much faster than D4, resulting in a faster polymer synthesis, which also increases the reverse reaction rate. To reduce the amounts of cyclic by-products from back-biting reaction while maintaining the existing synthesis method, we added promotors such as carbonate and acetate materials to the synthesis process.
