SSD 컨트롤러의 다양한 버퍼 프레임 크기 및 I/O연산들을 이용한 소모전력 측정

초록

In this paper, we measure the power consumption of SSD controller according to various frame sizes of SATA DRAM read/write buffer when sequential and random I/O operations are executed. Experimental result shows that the power consumption in case of 4KB buffer frame is smaller than those in case of 8KB, 32KB buffer frame sizes, respectively and the power consumption for sequential I/O operation is 20% less than that for random I/O operation.
