Quality Management and Patient Experience

As quality of care service is a top priority in healthcare sector, healthcare organizations effort to achieve continuous improvements of quality of care service. Quality management is considered as factors that influence patient experience and performance. In addition, as advanced information technology applications are rapidly expanding into healthcare system, various devices should influence patient experience. The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of quality management on patient experience in healthcare organizations. The proposed research model and developed hypotheses were tested using structural equations modeling based on data collected in South Korea. The result of the study is expected to contribute to both theory and practice of healthcare management.
