ZigBee 기반 문선 센서 네트워크 구성을 위한 최소비용 산출 기술 연구

Recently ships and ocean platforms are getting more technological, unmanned, and huge. The maintenance and safety monitoring of the products are very important for the safety reasons. Therefore, the realtime monitoring of safety regions, such as engine room, hull structure, and so on, and environmental states like fire and pressure of LNG tanks, are required for the sustainable ships. In this paper, Zigbee-based wireless sensor network is suggested to monitor ships or ocean platforms effectively. But there are some tele-communication problems because the products are made of steel. To resolve this problem, we use mesh networking of Zigbee, which can monitor the regions and environmental states consistently. The tele-communication of monitoring system is tested on a real container ship and the performance is verified. The realtime monitoring results are displayed on the users' smart devices.
