해양 조류발전단지 간섭연구

초록

South Korea is surrounded by ocean with very high tidal range of up to 9.7m on the west coast and with many islands on the south coast. Since there are strong current generated due to high tide range and narrow channels of islands, the tidal current power is very practical application. Even the tidal barrage power is also suitable to the west coast, it creates the great environmental impact to the costal and estuary regions by construction of tremendous dam structure to preserve water that can paralyze the circulation of water. The tidal current power unit is composed of various elements including support structure, gear box, rotor, control device, convertor, inverter, power cable and etc. To generate the high electricity, many power units are required and to be installed. However, the interaction is very critical and related to the power generation. The gabs between devices can highly affect the performance of rotor and power. Therefore, the interference of structures in axial and transversal directions should be fully understood. In this paper, the interactions of multi-arrayed tidal current devices are numerically and experimentally studied.
