The Gif-Type Oxidation of Benzylic C-H Bond

초록

Oxidation of organic compounds such as alkyl arene and benzylamines were studied by GoAggIII and GoAggV conditions. GoAggIII employs FeIII, H2O2, picolinic acid(PA), and pyridine/acetonitrile. t-BuOOH replaces H2O2 for GoAggV. GoAggIII and GoAggV were employed to oxidize ethyl benzene, benzylamine and α-methylbenzylamine. Much higher yeilds have been obtained for the reactions of each compounds with GoAggV. All the results can be explained in accordance with known mechanism of alkanes Gif-oxidation. .
