Measurement of hair cuticle structure using high-Q near-field scanning optical microscopy

In this study, the surface structure and the near-field distribution of a human hair cuticle were measured with high-Q near-field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM). The Qvalue of NSOM system was maximized by mechanical vibration control.
