A case of large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the anorectum with liver metastasis

Background : The gastrointestinal tract has the largest population of neruoendocrine cells. Despite this, neuroendocrine carcinoma of the colon and rectum are rare. And they have aggressive behavior and poorer prognosis compared eith adenocarcinoma. Purpose : We report a case of large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of anorectum with liver metastasis.
