A study on the multiple organ failure in mechanically ventilated patients

Infection was a crucial factor to the development of MOF and prognosis. Coagulation and cardiovascular system were the significant factors in mortality. Mortality was influenced by the fact which organ was involved rather than the number of failed organs.
