초록

Recently AlN has been a candidate material of electronic subtrate and heat sink. AlN was synthesized by direct nitridation of metal alumimum powders and then densified by presureless sintering and hot presing under the flowing nitrogen gases, after nadding a little amount of calcium carbonate as a sintering aid. The nitridation of Al powders started at about 430C and finished completely by holding it at 1050C for 60 min.The relative density and microhardness of specimen which were pressurelessly sintered at 1800C for 20 min were 95.9% and 10.5Gpa respectively
