Optimization of the Directional Coupler by Waveguide Shift using the Effective Index Method
초록
The field excitation coefficients of a directional coupler are analyzed by the overlap integration with the guided mode propagation analysis (MPA). Here, the loss characteristics of output waveguide in a directional coupler is shown to be optimized by shifting the waveguide profile.
