초록
This paper presents the analysis of a series active power filter for reactive power compensation, load balancing, harmonic elimination, and neutral current eradication in three-phase four-wire power systems. The direct compensating voltage extraction method is used as the control method are the direct extraction of compensation voltage references without the transformation of coordinates and the multiplying the gain of active power filter. Therefore, the calculation of the compensation voltage reference is simpler than other control methods. The compensation principle of the proposed control method is presented in this paper. The laboratory prototypes of series active power filter have been manufactured and harmonic current source loads. The experimental results clarifiy the validity of the proposed control algorithm
