초록

Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization was performed using two synchronized laser pulses in the IR and UV regions. A 2.94 m pulsed Er:YAG laser and a 337 nm pulsed nitrogen laser were used to irradiate a MALDI target. By systematically varying the time delay between the IR and UV laser pulses while measuring the ion signal, the optimal delay time for the maximum ion yield was found.
