초록

The technique of stepped light-induced transient measurements of photocurrent and voltage (SLIM-PCV) was used for the measurement of electron diffusion coefficients (De) and electron lifetimes (τ) for the dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) fabricated from several TiO2 nanoparticles in different sizes. TiO2 nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal reaction, and their sizes were 7nm, 15nm and 30nm, respectively. These three TiO2 nanopaticles were applied as nanoporous electrode of DSSC, and the characteristics of solar cell as a function of particle size was studied in this work. Determined De and τwere measured by SLIM-PCV to investigate the particle size effect. It has been found that the De increases and τ decreases with the increase of the particle size. This study suggests that the optimized TiO2 particle size is required for the efficient transport of electrons in DSSC.
