외부 광원과의 면외 광결합을 위한 집적형 광 도파로 격자 결합기

초록

We propose an integrated waveguide grating coupler for out-of-plane coupling with external light source such as surface-emitting photonic crystal laser. The diffraction characteristics of the proposed coupler have been investigated to obtain efficient optical coupling by both Bloch wave analysis and finite difference time domain simulation.
