Evaluation of the effect of clostridium difficile infection (CDI) treatment modality (fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) vs Metronidazole vs vancomycin) on CDI recurrence

In FMT group, the recurrence of CDI was observed to be lower than other groups The fecal microbiota of recipients following FMT was more diverse and more similar to the symbiosis than other CDI treatment These results suggest that FMT may be the most physiologic treatment to be considered preemptively among CDI treatments
