An enhanced smart maintenance of piping system for the offshore plants

This paper suggests more improved smart maintenance system which can support engineering-knowledge to field engineers immediately as well as 3D CAD design information in working process. To build technical knowledge, we use knowledge based system and construct knowledge-base into mobile device. To derive exact information, and also RFID technology is applied into the smart maintenance system. RFID can prevent/reduce engineer's mistakes or redundant actions. Thus the engineers are able to be focused on their works with provided proper engineering-knowledge from the smart maintenance system.
