Interactions of surfactant protein D with surface lipoteichoic acid from gram positive bacteria

SPD participates in the regulation of lung inflammatory response to G (+) bacteria. A more complete understanding of the interaction of SPD with LTA may provide the insights to control the inflammatory responses elicited by Gram (+) organisms.
