레저용 삼동선의 실용화에 대한 연구

초록

The objective of this study is to design a trimaran for use of pleasure boat near Youngjong island. The boat will be made of fiber reinforced plastics and equipped with a 650 hp diesel engine with a conventional water jet propulsion system and the maximum speed is 25 knots after fully loaded. Model tests for similar trimaran hull forms were performed to study influences of the spacing between main hull and outriggers, longitudinal location of the outriggers, and different type of outriggers have been reported already. [1] In the present study, the optimal size, location and the shape have been selected and resistance characteristics of the trimaran boat are investigated. The hydrostatic properties and general arrangement of the boat are also reported.
