유방의 화생형 암종의 세침흡인 세포학적 소견: 연골과 편평상피분화를 보인 1예 보고

초록

51-year old woman visited for evaluation of palpable breast mass and fine needle aspiration was performed. The aspirates shoed highly cellular smears with necrotic background. Many clustered and scattered spithelial cells showing high grade nyclear features. Fragments of amorphous myxochondroid materials and small amount of atypical keratinized squamous cells were seen. Modified radical mastectomy was performed and the diagnosis of metaplastic carcinoma with chondroid and squamous differentiation was made. It is recommended that malignant breast aspirates be carefully scrutinized for multiple neoplastic components.
