존 헤이덕(John Hejduk)의 건축에서 나타나는 벽의 의미화와 공간적 특성에 관한 연구

초록

Focusing on John Hejduk's works that had raised a question on the meaning of the wall in modern architecture and that had brought up the issue upon the role and creative representation of the wall, the study intends to investigate the significance and concept of the wall mentioned by John Hejduk, and to explore the wall's notional as well as constructive relationship with a space. The thesis purposes to address in depth a possible new design method of which design thinking is founded upon the wall particularly through a theoretical investigation on flatness, threshold, and defamiliarization. 키워드 : 존헤이덕, 벽, 공간 Keywords : John Hejduk, wall, space
