Organic?Inorganic Hybrid Black Pigments for Autonomous Vehicle Coating System?
초록
This work presents the development of LiDAR-detectable organic?inorganic hybrid black materials that combine an NIR-transparent, visible-light-absorbing organic layer with NIR-reflective inorganic oxides. Conventional black coatings typically exhibit low NIR reflectance, limiting their applicability in LiDAR detection systems. The organic layer acts as a selective NIR-transmitting filter, while the inorganic oxide layer enhances multiple scattering, thereby amplifying LiDAR-detectable signals. Coatings fabricated with the optimized hybrid materials exhibit significantly higher NIR reflectance at 905 nm. LiDAR sensor evaluations confirm recognition of surfaces coated with the hybrid black material. Accordingly, this materials-engineering strategy offers a promising route to black coatings to enhance the reliability of LiDAR-based autonomous driving systems. - 본 연구성과물은 2025년도 정부(교육부)의 재원으로 한국연구재단의 지원을 받아 수행된 기초연구사업임 (RS-2025-25437265)??
