초록

Lentisphaera marina IMCC11369T, belonging to the phylum Lentisphaerota, is a Gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped bacterium. This study presents the draft genome sequence of L. marina IMCC11369T, isolated from surface water in the East Sea, South Korea. The genome was sequenced using both the PacBio RS II and Illumina platforms, resulting in an assembly of three contigs with a total length of 5,301,174 bp and a G + C content of 40.47%. The genome encodes 4,270 protein-coding sequences, 15 rRNA genes, and 62 tRNA genes. Functional annotation of the genome suggests that L. marina IMCC11369T contains a significant number of genes encoding sulfatases and carbohydrate-active enzymes (CAZymes), indicating its potential role in polysaccharide degradation in marine environments. © (2025), (The Korean Society for Mocrobiology / The Korean Society of Virology).
