초록
In order to realize the ultra long span suspension bridge, CFRP is applied for its main cable. However, CFRP has weaknesses such as low shear strength, and anisotropic material. Therefore, in application to there ,the shear break at the cable straps becomes a problem. In this study, in order to examine basically about the application of CFRP to there ,the cable strap where the centre of the main span and the maximum hanger load acted were modeled. Numerical analysis was conducted with a parameter of the sectional area ratio of the steel wire and CFRP wire by FEM. Firstly, the validity of the modeling was confirmed ,that is the strength of CFRP wire was evaluated using the failure criteria of an anisotropic material. Finally, assuming a hybrid composition, the effectiveness of failure was confirmed.
