다문화이해강사 결혼이주여성의 문화매개 경험에 관한 사례연구

초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the implications of the cultural mediation experience of the married migrant women instructors for multicultural understanding. They played an important role as a medium for social integration and how it influenced their perception of their own culture and understanding of Korean culture. In order to achieve the research goal, 11 multicultural instructors were conducted semi-structured in-depth interviews by interview guides. In order to understand their living experiences and derive meaning from each case, they proceeded with qualitative case studies. They felt rewarding and fulfilling their mission to promote their culture and history through cultural mediation experience. They gained pride and patriotism in their own cultures and learned to accept and respect other cultures. And based on experience and understanding, they were able to expand their understanding of Korea and Korean culture. Systematic cultural education based on various experiences and cultural sensitivity should be strengthened to actively serve as a cultural intermediary for marriage migrant women's multicultural concerns.
