초록
In this paper, we employ two novel non-linear chirp functions, arc trigonometric function and arc hyperbolic function, to construct ultra wideband (UWB) pulses and alleviate narrowband interference (NBI). The UWB systems composed of the new pulses have significant performance in suppressing the NBI. Both of them require only time domain processing for the inherent characteristics of these chirp waveforms. Simulation results show that the NBI suppression ability of the direct sequence pulse amplitude modulation (DS-PAM) UWB system with the proposed chirp waveforms can be enhanced greatly and are superior to the conventional linear chirp pulses. ©2009 IEEE.
