네마틱 액정에 있어서 배향질서도의 일반적인 측정법

초록

In this study, we developed general method for measuring the order parameter of liquid crystals. This method is based on the dichroic ratio of infrared absorbance by the transition moment located on the para-axis. Comparaed with the results from the dichroic ratio of absorbance in near ultraviolet by pi electrons, this method is proven to be very accurate for measuring the order parameters of all kinds of liquid crystals.
