Fabrication of Mesoporous Carbon Nanosheets/PANI Composites and Its Application as Electric Double-Layer Capacitor Electrode Material

Herein, polyaniline-coated mesoporous carbon nanosheets (p-CN/PANI) are synthesized via vapor deposition polymerization (VDP). Mesoporous carbon template is prepared by calcining iron oleate in sodium chloride matrix under nitrogen, followed by NaCl and Fe2O3 removal using water and aqua regia. Aniline is introduced onto the FeCl3-pretreated carbon surface, enabling controlled polymerization that partially fills pores while maintaining high porosity. Electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC) with p-CN/PANI electrodes and a PVA/H2SO4 gel electrolyte exhibits a specific capacitance of 105.3 F g-1 at 0.5 A g-1 and retains 71.2% at 5 A g-1. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy reveals a resistive-to-capacitive transition within 0.63 s. These findings demonstrate the potential of integrating conductive polymers with mesoporous carbon to enhance energy storage performance. 본 연구는 2025년도 산업통상자원부 및 산업기술기획 평가원(KEIT) 연구비 지원에 의한 연구임(RS-2022-00156073)
