Aerodynamic Analysis of Lifting Fan Embedded in Wing Using ADM and ASM
초록
This paper presents a numerical technique for analyzing the aerodynamic performance of lifting fans embedded in aircraft. Unlike full-fledged CFD methods, the proposed method combines a RANS method with an actuator disk method and an actuator surface method. Due to the approximations associated with the actuator methods, the proposed method gives the time-averaged performance of the lifting fans. However, it is much more efficient than unsteady CFD methods. The accuracy of the method is demonstrated by comparing the results with an experimental data for a lifting fan embedded in a wing.
