Boundary processing for holographic near to eye displays with replicated eyeboxes

A boundary processing method is proposed to present holographic three-dimensional images within the repeated eyebox area seamlessly. The proposed method pre-wraps the angular spectrum of the computer generated hologram when the eye is located at the eyebox boundary so that correct holographic images are observed. © 2019 The Author(s)
