광통신용 마이크로 광소자 분석에서 입력광원 모델링 방식에 따른 영향

초록

Usually the configuration of micro-optic devices are optimally designed by numerical simulation. During the procedure of the optimal design, the performance of devices depends on how an input beam or an input source is modelled. In this paper, the influence of source-modelling methods on the device characteristics has been investigated by using the our simulation tool based on the finite ray tracing method, and also an efficient method for modeling light source is proposed.
