Preparation of Mesoporous Carbon Nanopsheres Templated by Monodisperse Polymeric Nanospheres
초록
Hollow mesoporous carbon (HMC) nanoparticles with nanometer-sized pores and large surface area are prepared based on the monodisperse nanocolloid template of a polystyrene-core with mesoporous silica shell. The average diameter of these HMCs is in the size range of 300 nm and the average pore diameter of mesopores located within the hollow shell was 4-5 nm. To synthesize HMCs, Polystyrene core was decomposed by chloroform and the degraded polystyrene particles were crosslinked by friedel-craft reaction in silica shell and then heat-treated for further polymerization. The crosslinked polystyrene particles were calcinated to form nanochannels in silica shell. After the particles were carbonizated to make mesoporous carbon. The remaining silica shell was etched with hydrogen fluoride solution. The structure, morphology and electrochemical properties of carbon materials are characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectrum, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), cyclic voltammetry(CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
