Encyclopedia of ocean law and policy in Asia-pacific

This timely encyclopedia addresses the underrepresented scholarly state practice of the Asia-Pacific region in negotiating and implementing the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) - a continuing cornerstone of focus for regional and non-regional states alike. Further highlights for each represented state include ocean treaty accessions, domestic implementation, maritime zones, maritime disputes, exploring and exploiting living and non-living resources, marine environment protection, marine scientific research, dispute settlement, and contributions to the development of the law of the sea.
