초록
The purpose of this study is to propose the method of determining the initial fabric surface of membrane structures by Dynamic Relaxation Method. The dynamic relaxation method1) is the non-linear static analysis method, which includes some characteristics from FEM and FDM, that minimize the total potential energy of structures by damping effect with tracing the structural motion at each time step. To determine the initial surface of membrane structures with prestress, a nonlinear finite element method is used to analyze equally stressed surface in membrane structures. Therefore in this paper, The catenary structures are chosen as a numerical example to analyze the equally stressed surfaces using the dynamic relaxation method. And the pneumatic structures are also chosen to perform the stabilizing process by initial internal forces. The characteristics of analyses using the dynamic relaxation method and using the force density method are examined through the shape finding analysis.
