초록
In this study, the fatigue life of 18Ni Maraging steel under both low and high cyclic conditions is estimated by using FORM (First Order Reliability Method). Fatigue models based on strain approach such as Coffin – Manson Fatigue theory and Morrow’s mean stress method are utilized. The Limit State Function including these two models was established. A case study for a material with the given special material properties was carried out to show the application of the proposed process of the reliability estimation. The effect of mean stress of the varying fatigue loading on the failure probability has also been investigated.
