초록

Both photovoltaic (PV) systems and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are connected to the grid. Because a PV system can control reactive power, reactive power control of the PV system can help maintain the voltage stability of the existing grid when high-capacity, high-speed EV chargers consume power. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of reactive power control on the voltage regulation of the grid with EV charging stations. For this, this study models the grid that hosts the PV and EV systems. Grid and reactive power control of PV systems is implemented in OpenDSS and MATLAB. To make the model more useful, the actual load and PV production profiles are collected at 15-minute intervals over the course of a week. As a result, the proposed model examines the effect of reactive power control on voltage regulation and grid generation. © 2025 IEEE.
