A study of dementia daycare center, in relation to provision of satisfaction and reducing burden towards family care giver

This study was undertaken to examine how the use of the day care program service reduce care families burden and identify level of satisfaction towards the services. The results were as follows; 1.Using 5 point Likert scale and 5 being the significant reduce of burden level, mean score of total care burden in the sample was 3.31. Analysis of the sub areas indicate that care burden relation to care giver's social acivities were most reduced with mean score of 3.5. 2. 65% of care givers have answere that they are very satisfied with Day Care Center's service program, 32% of caregivers have answered 'satisfy' and only 3% have answered 'same as before'. 3. 90% of caregivers have answered that Day Care Center is 'very helpful'. Questions concerning in which ways did Day Care Center helped caregiver have shown that majority of care giver found helpfulness as they have free during the day time.
