The Effective Multimedia Service using APMN

초록

In this paper, the new multimedia service architecture is proposed for more effective and high performance multimedia service over the Internet. With APMN which consider the information of traffic of the network path, status of server and connection record of users, it will be possible to provide good quality and high performance of multimedia service to user than the case of conventional client-server architecture. The empirical result applying APMN to the multimedia system shows that the performance is better than the system of conventional multimedia service on behalf of the restriction of the clients to be served from the one server by Media-Agent which can distribute the requests from users into some Media-Servers.
