초록
Modern structures are huge in size and complex in behaviors. Long-span bridges, as one of them, has long spans compared with common bridges and are more influenced by environmental actions such as temperature or wind. Since a series disaster may be faced when an accident occurred on a long-span bridge, the structural health monitoring becomes more important. Temperature variation takes effects on the variation of natural frequencies more seriously when a structure is damaged. To correct this problems, a study has been carried out to eliminate the components due to temperature variation and to devise a health index using the corrected data. Through the study, a basis of the algorithm for monitoring structural health in more correct and reliable manner has been developed.
