The Impact of Blood pressure Variability on Early Neurological Deterioration among the Patients with Successful Recanalization by Endovascular Thrombectomy

초록

We investigated the impact of blood pressure (BP) variability toward early neurological deterioration after successful recanalization with endovascular thrombectomy. Methods : total of 211 acute ischemic stroke patients treated by intraarterial thrombectomy achieving successfulrecanalization were included between January 2013 and May 2017 from three university hospitals in Korea. The BP data was obtained over the first 24 hours after thrombectomy including mean, maximum, minimum and time rate (TR) of BP variation for systolic and diastolic BP. Early neurological deterioration (END) was defined as two or more increment of National Institutional Health Stroke Scale up to seven days after recanalization therapy, and was categorized into three groups: ischemia progression, brain edema and symptomatic hemorrhage.
