A Plasmodium vivax malaria model was formulated using a system of delay differential equations with multiple delays and temperature-dependent parameters to account for the long latency and seasonality in temperate regions. The well-posedness of the system, asymptotic local stability of the disease-free equilibrium, and existence of the endemic equilibrium are shown analytically. Seasonal parameters are incorporated into the numerical simulations to demonstrate the asymptotic behavior with delay and temperature changes.(c) 2023 International Association for Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (IMACS).
