Role of sphingomyelin-ceramide pathway and MAPKs in heat-induced apoptosis
초록
It has been reported that heat-shock activates sphingomyelinases(SMases), thereby causing hydrolysis of sphingomyelin to cerkinase(MAPK) family such as ERKs, JNK and p38 kinase, which control apoptosis signaling. In the present study, heating at 43℃ for 60 min activated both acid SMase and neutral SMase in HL 60 humna leukemia cells, as determined with the Amplex TM SMase assay kit. Activation of acid SMase requires diacylglycerol(DAG), which is generated from phosphatidyl choline and phosphatidyl inositol 4,5-bisphosphate(PIP2).
