The cryogenic mechanical properties of additively manufactured CrMnFeCoNi high-entropy alloys (HEAs) with different carbon contents were investigated. The superior cryogenic ultimate tensile strength of 1.6 GPa of the 1.5 at.% carbon-containing CrMnFeCoNi HEA was attributed to the stabilization of the sub-grains by numerous carbide precipitates and the dislocation-network induced substructure.
