초록
This paper describes a design of a low power 3rd order switched capacitor delta sigma modulator for an implantable analog-to-digital converter to measure neuron signals. The proposed modulator employs the switched opamp to minimize static power dissipation. The designed ADC is implemented with 0.35um CMOS n-well 1-poly 4-metal process. The simulated performance of the proposed modulator shows 6.2mW of power dissipation with 3.3V of Supply Voltage, 6.4MHz of conversion rate, 86.76dB SNDR, and 14.12bit ENOB with 25KHz of input frequency.
