Can Architecture be Comic? : The Frames in Cartoon and the Events in Architecture

The study takes the hypothesis, as a point of departure, that frames in comic can be used as a tool to analyze the structure of architectural narrative when architecture is to be viewed as a field of events. The purpose of the study is an attempt to examine how events are involved in the frames of comic, to explore any similarities between the structure of the comic frame and that of architectural space, and to verify the hypothesis that manipulating method of cartoon through frames can be applied to architectural design process.
