초록
As the importance of smart cars increases in the automobile industry, more studies have been done to develop new technologies to help improve a driver's convenience and safety. In general, safety devices installed in vehicles are mainly composed of passive safety devices that reduce damages in case of an accident. Yet for smart cars, there have been many research and studies to develop an active protective system, which detects and prevents the risk of accident. In this study, we developed a technology to control the range and the radius of beam depending on the distance information of the obstacle object. It changes through optical system design and barrel design of the lighting module. The optical system is designed mainly focusing on three variables.(radius and distance of the beam, distance between lenses) The optical system uses a total of four lenses, in which the adjustment of the distance between the first and second lenses controls the radius and distance of the beam.
