경계검출방법에 의한 복합곡면의 역공학
초록
This paper describes an efficient reverse engineering technique for compound surfaces using boundary detection method. First, the edge information is extracted by applying image processing technique, and the boundaries are fitted to several analytic curves(circle, ellipse, line) and parametric curves(b-spline curves). Next, measured points obtained using touch type probe are fitted to several patches by applying b-spline skinning method. Finally, the patches are assembled to reconstruct the compound surface. Required simulations and experimets were carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. Experimental results show that the proposed method can remarkably decrease the errors in the reverse engineering for compound surfaces.
